Emily-Jane Newsletter, March 15, 2008

A note on custom work: Do you have unworn jewelry in your collection that has sentimental value but just isn't your style any longer or perhaps never was? We will create one-of-a-kind treasures from your special pieces of jewelry. You will have the pleasure of re-creating heirlooms that will become invaluable pieces to pass on to loved ones. Please call to schedule an appointment so we are able to give you our undivided attention. This process usually requires more than one appointment. 503-460-0516

"Oh how I love our Boheme Necklace.  This one in 18k gold, quartz and oxidized sterling silver is so dreamy and edgy yet also classic.  If it was mine I'd wear it everyday with a scoopneck and jeans.  love, love, love." $1,095

Shelby
"Yowza! It is hard to find the words to express my passion for this one-of-a-kind piece. The uniqueness of the cat's eye chrysoberyl, the flowing drape of the chains, and my favorite tiny 'spikeys' all come together with the help of some gorgeous cognac and smoky quartz. Go ahead and try to stop me from creating another!"  This amazing necklace is a one-of-a-kind and is available for $495.  Please call if you are interested, but don't wait long.  We will be continuing this design in aquamarine, morganite (pink aquamarine), and labradorite in the next week.
Suhaila
"There is something really incredible about this cut of turquoise, and the monochromotic earthtones of the necklace. Natural, untreated cognac quartz alternates delicate textured rings, and they almost seem to glow. The strange pendant, like a planet of painted desserts, hangs below by a vintage brass chain, framed with perfectly contrasting sterling silver detail." $295
Asa
"I really love this necklace because it is beautiful and original. The contrast between materials makes it so unique and gorgeous; like elegant white topaz and rugged turquoise, tied together with vintage brass. It makes you feel like a nordic princess, ruling with fierce beauty."  This design was a one-of-a-kind quickly seized by an emily-jane customer. Here's the same design pictured with a different pendant. $295
Sophie
"I chose the Juiet beacase it is traditionally gorgeous, and I paired the Deep Sea Diver earrings with it beacause they are so artsy and different which creates an interesting contrast." This necklace of 18k gold and cognac quartz is $995. The earrings mentioned can be seen here.
Emily
"The Knotical...
for starters, one can never go wrong with tasteful wordplay. I am in a current love affair with chain clusters - and this one takes the cake." $165
Welcome Emily (the "New" Emily) to the team:

Join us in welcoming a wonderful new addition to the emily-jane team. Emily (pictured above) is the fabulous new emily-jane girl and comes to us from local company Souchi and with a BFA in Sculpture from PNCA. Her skills include an appealing sense of design in jewelry, clothing and art (see www.emilybixler.com). Emily has already created some wonderful new pieces. My favorite are the Bridget Earrings, pictured and linked here.
